Taking the opportunity to exhibit at the Webwinkel Vakdagen 2013 in Utrecht, Netherlands, we certainly had a great time at the expo last week. (WWV13 is one of the largest e-commerce fairs in the Benelux area).
Standing next door to our solution partner Fenego in the "development" area of the expo, we spent the two days of the fair discussing cross-channel commerce and PIM as a driving force for e-commerce with people. Interestingly enough, we noticed that the Dutch market possesses a firm knowledge of what PIM is, so we had some great discussions that followed at our stand.
Personally I was also really pleased to be able to see the other exhibitors' offering in matter of e-commerce platforms, payment solutions, marketing tools and logistics. And yeah, I was of course checking out the competition ;-)
All in all, it seems that no matter where you are (geographically speaking) - the need for PIM is definitely there.
